Soledad Voss Scholarship

Soledad Voss Scholarship

Soledad Seoane Voss, one of LBSA’s founding board members sadly passed away on March 10, 2013 in a car accident after a day of skiing. She is survived by her three children, husband, parents, brother and two sisters. “Sole,” as she was known by everyone at Berkeley, had the rare gift of lighting up any room she walked into with her big smile and boundless energy!

She was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, grew up in Livermore and was a graduate of the Haas School of Business. She served as the first VP of Finance in the history of LBSA, and enthusiastically encouraged LBSA members to pursue careers in accounting and tax. After graduating from Berkeley in 1999 Sole worked as an accounting professional for Ernst&Young, and in her spare time taught fitness classes, and enjoyed skiing, biking, and raising her three beautiful children.

In Memory of Soledad and her contribution to LBSA, in 2013 the LBSA alumni fund found it only right to rename the Gold Scholarship award to this Alumni who will always be our shining star. We will miss her and always remember her for her energy and everything she always did for the growing organization.
